SUNPHI NODE · WINDOWS 10 / 11
One installer
One connection
Install SunPhi Node, send your connection request and check approval in the same application.
Version 0.18.9 · Windows 10 (2004 or later) / 11 · Intel or AMD x64 · 5 GB free storage. Internet access and hardware virtualisation are required.
Three steps on each computer
- 01
Install SunPhi Node
Download the Windows node from the standard Downloads section. Follow the setup wizard and approve the Windows permission prompt. You can include the wallet interface. The installer creates a SunPhi Node shortcut on the desktop and in the Start menu.
- 02
Send your request
Open SunPhi Node, tick the setup consent box and click Connect this computer. Preparation, your request and connection status stay in one window. If needed, select Install Windows component. Save your documents before a requested restart, then reopen SunPhi Node.
The app preserves an existing device identity or creates keys locally, and submits the signed request. Its number appears under Request number for approval. Click Copy and identify which computer it belongs to.
- 03
Approve and connect
The SunPhi administrator opens Admin → SunPhi operators → Computer connections, checks the request number, enters a computer name and owner group, confirms ownership and that it is a separate physical computer, then clicks Approve computer. Return to SunPhi Node, wait up to a minute and click Check approval. The status Connected confirms that the connection is ready to receive signed assignments.
Repeat these steps separately on every computer. Keep each computer awake, signed in and online while it participates. The application can remain in the notification area; use Disconnect to disconnect. Closing the window while connected leaves the app in the notification area. The desktop shortcut brings back the same window.
Updating an existing installation
Install the new SunPhi Node package over the previous Node version. Existing node keys, journals, wallet profiles and the separate computing environment are retained. Open SunPhi Node. A previously authorised connection resumes automatically; if you explicitly disconnected, click Connect. Your existing request number and approval are preserved. SunPhi Node includes connection setup and the computing environment. Close any older SunPhi Compute application before using it.
The Windows node service starts automatically. Assigned computing tasks run in the signed-in user's dedicated environment while the computer remains awake and online. SunPhi approves the connection, and signed assignments authorise individual tasks. Active voting membership is granted through a separate certified network decision. Computing tasks use their own state, preserving existing wallet balances.
Installer signing status: unsigned. Compare the download with its published SHA-256 checksum and keep antivirus protection enabled. For a setup error, open Error details and retain the saved environment and keys.
